How to properly use female condom

1. Check the expiry date of the condom.
2. Tear downwards as marked on the package.
3. Spread lubrication to the condom.
4. Grab the inner ring of the condom with one hand and squeeze the inner ring together. (Alternatively you can slightly twist the inner ring to form a figure of eight).
5. With one hand separate the outer lips of vagina and push the inner ring into vagina as far as possible with the other hand. Insert index or middle finger into the female condom.
6. The outer ring including with about an inch of the condom should remain outside of the body. The slack will decrease when the penis enters vagina but the outer ring needs to remain outside the body, protecting the external genitalia.

How to dispose of Female Condom after use?

1. Hold and twist the outer ring of Female Condom to seal the condom and prevent the semen to come out.
2. While holding the twisted part pull the Female Condom out of vagina and wrap it in tissue.
3. Dispose the Female Condom in waste container.
